This expertly crafted porterhouse is often called the steak lover's cut because it's big in size and flavor, combining the best of two steaks -- a juicy, robust strip loin and a lighter, melt-in-your-mouth tenderloin consistently cut to no less than 1.25 inches in diameter.
Porterhouse steaks are a wonderful, hearty entree whether grilled, or seared and oven-roasted. They pair well with a wide variety of dry rubs and seasonings, and cover the plate majestically.
Porterhouse steaks can also be broiled or sauteed. Minimal seasonings are fine, as the flavor of these steaks is extraordinary on its own.
Bone-in steaks offer better plate coverage and great flavor.
USDA Choice is a high USDA grade, with ample marbling. The meat is quite tender, juicy and flavorful.
