Metaverse

Introduction

The Meta-Verse is a realm in which contestants will explore virtual reality and compete in groups to find treasure; it will be a virtual treasure hunt.

Event Description

The Meta-Verse is a four-person group event. Each participant of each group enters a virtual world called the Metaverse where they must navigate it in search of hints that will lead them to the final treasure, which will determine who wins the competition. It is a hybrid event, so competitors must look for hints in both the virtual and physical worlds to find the final treasure, which is located in the virtual one.

Rounds:

Round 1: Race against Time(1 hr)

Each group's leader will proceed to the lab, where volunteers will direct them to their respective systems. The remaining members of each group will explore the metaverse during system allocation. 

Now, in our Instagram handle, we will post four images, three of which will consist of hints found in the physical world, by chasing those hints it will lead to three letters from each post. 

The remaining  one post is  for the leader, which will consist of three metalink with one hidden letter in each. As an example: S A W.

Combine those six letters to form a meaningful word, which results in a meaningful name for a folder in the system. 

The folder contains a text document that contains a riddle; participants must solve it and open the file with encryption; as the file opens, read the word present in it and tell it to the president; the president will give you an envelope; tell the genre (anime or webseries) and get the link to the second round.

Round 2: Exploration(1 hr)

Get the link in the first round, and the president will give each participant an envelope with a riddle in it. Go to your preferred genre, which will have one hint but multiple portals. Look for hints in different portals and hints that will direct you to pictures, think about what it denotes, and find the answer.

Navigate to the login page that we have provided. Enter your login id and passcode from the exploration round, then proceed to the third round.

Round 3: Maze of Portals(1 hr)

A network of paths and portals designed as a puzzle in which participants must find a way and wander around the portals to observe the hints present in it and decode those hints by combining or linking them. Participants will get a passcode, which will be the same for all teams, so first come, first served will lead to the event's ultimate final treasure.
