Rabbi Moshe and Rebbetzin Sarah (Shulevitz) Vorhand would like to invite you to the "Vorhand Shabbaton" and Motzoei Shabbos Lively Musical Kumzits. The event is catered for open-minded and marriage-minded Orthodox quality singles. It will take place on March 1, Parshas Ki Sesah in the heart of the Upper West Side of New York City.

The event will provide a hotel stay (provided it is needed), delicious meals, heartwarming singers, and Lively Kumzits Motzoei Shabbos.

We have a limited number of spots available, and they will be allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis.


There are NO CHARGE for signing up!


After signing up, a representative from our office will contact you within a day or two to confirm your spot. Please note that your spot will only be reserved once you receive a phone confirmation.


We allow for full refunds in case of any changes from either side until February 26. However, after this date, we will provide full refunds minus $50. This is because we will have already placed orders and won't be able to accommodate any further changes.


The Shabbos only $110 + Hotel. Our booking offers a reduced rate.

Schedule and Details:


The meals will take place by Rabbi and Rebbetzin (Shulevitz) Vorhand. Davening will be at Cong. Heichal Moshe (R' Vorhand Shul) at 303 W 91st New York, NY 10024

Ladies should enter the Shul through 303, The men's entrance is located 15 feet to the left.


Candle Lighting 5:29 The women are welcome to come upstairs to the Rebbetzin to light candles or proceed to the women's section in shul.



Mincha and Carlebach Kabbalas Shabbos 5:45 with Singer Yumi Lowy and Choir.

Reception after davening upstairs, the Rav will say a few welcoming words.

Meal: 7:45 in the Shul followed by Oneg at 9:40 - Getting to know each other! 


Guest speaker: Rabbi Mermelstein 


The Sabbaton will be with the famous singers Yumi Lowy and Moshe Mintz (possibly also Lipe Schmeltzer) and Chavrah.

Shacharis with Chazzen Gedalia Kessner and Choir at 9:30 followed by a Gala Kiddush 12:00 

If the weather is nice, Enjoy the Riverside Park down the block and a nice Guided Tour in the Neighborhood and community.


Lunch: 1:15 Guest speaker: Zev Brenner from America’s longest running Jewish Broadcast Network.

Mincha 5:30 followed by Shalosh Seudos followed by Maariv.

Hotel Information:

The hotel is located within a short 7 minute walking distance from the Shul.

You can ask the front desk to open your room door on Shabbos or you can put a magnet etc.

The hotel has stairs that guests can use on Shabbos.

If you choose to stay just one night at the hotel check out time is before noon, and you can ask the front desk to store your belongings in their back office till after Shabbos.



Please note the below discounted prices are for the Night Hotel and the Riverside Tower Hotel. Discounted prices are only available until this Friday, February 23rd at 2pm. Only a limited number of rooms are available, so we recommend signing up ASAP. 

If you want to explore other options, consider the Riverside Tower Hotel, the Arthouse Hotel, Hotel Belleclaire, and The Wallace. However, please remember that the prices in Manhattan are incredibly high.  

We are trying our best to help you find the most suitable option. We recommend booking a single occupancy room for two nights.
