ABOUTThe KNUST Water and Sustainability Club is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-partisan, student-run organization with the mandate to promote SDG 6. In recent decades overexploitation, pollution, and climate change have led to severe water stress in locales across the world. Today, 2.2 billion people lack access to safely managed drinking water. Now more than ever the world needs to transform the way it manages its water resources and delivers water and sanitation services for billions of people. Urgent action is needed to overcome this global crisis, as it is affecting all countries around the world, socially, economically and environmentally.
This club is geared towards working to improve or find solutions to these challenges and sourcing funds in order to make the solutions materialize.
